FICTION, ART WHICH STIR UP TROUBLE.
« Les fictions du jour sont [...] plus ambiguës
qu’ambivalentes : elles ne sont ni des mensonges, ni des
créations. Redoutables par là même, elles ne se distinguent
radicalement, ni de la vérité, ni de la réalité, mais
entendent s’y substituer. » (Marc Augé, 2000, Fictions
fin de siècle, suivi de Que se passe-t-il ? Fayard, p. 12)
The confusion between reality and imitated or magnified fictions by various supports of communication are not new. It is very present since these last years notably with the development of the mass media. Creation fields is not in rest and testifies of an important transit of the reality towards the fiction. The fact of borrowing from the reality some element to build a fiction widely inspired somes creative practices. The domain of literature but also cinema are convincing examples in the point to be grouped together under the term of " canonical fictions ". Recurring invocation of fiction term in the visual arts also reports this craze for fiction dumping within the contemporary artistic practices. This initiative of " artistic fiction " aims at disturbing the systems of perception, at questioning living environment and in the same time reportrelationshipto the collective memory. One of its paradoxes is that while trying to show fictionnels processes which draw from the factual representations, it also tries in a additional way to underline the use of the fiction in the current life as an aware act individual or collective and sometimes even critical.
